CDMP Study Plan
30-Day CDMP Study Plan: A Four-Week Fundamentals Schedule
A 30-day plan works best for candidates who already have some data-management background. Use week one for baseline and broad coverage, weeks two and three for weak domains and repeated practice, and the final week for timed simulation and targeted review.
What to know for the CDMP exam
- Week 1: diagnostic plus broad DMBOK review.
- Weeks 2–3: concentrated domain practice and mistake review.
- Week 4: full simulations, pacing, and final weak-area work.
The CDMP Data Management Fundamentals exam rewards understanding and judgment, not just memorization. Use official DAMA materials for authoritative exam rules and the body of knowledge, then use independent practice to identify gaps and build speed.
How to study efficiently
Start with a diagnostic, spend more time on weak areas, review explanations, and use timed simulations when your knowledge is stable. StudyForData provides 300 original practice questions across all 14 knowledge areas.
