CDMP Certification Levels: Associate vs Practitioner vs Master
CDMP has three current certification levels: Associate, Practitioner, and Master. The levels increase in score threshold, exam requirements, and expected depth of professional experience.
What to know for the CDMP exam
- Associate: Fundamentals exam at 60%.
- Practitioner: Fundamentals plus two specialist exams at 70%.
- Master: Fundamentals plus two specialist exams at 80% and experience assessment.
The CDMP Data Management Fundamentals exam rewards understanding and judgment, not just memorization. Use official DAMA materials for authoritative exam rules and the body of knowledge, then use independent practice to identify gaps and build speed.
How to study efficiently
